"Thanks for coming in today!" Belting out this phrase with a smile is one of my favorite ways to encourage people in the workplace. In fact I've learned to share this greeting in multiple languages such as Mandarin, Tagalo, Tegrena, Spanish and Arabic. I love to find ways to help people to enjoy life as much as I do!

There are many reasons for my overflowing contentment. I was raised in beautiful Santa Rosa by exceptionally loving and responsible parents. I also have a younger brother, by two years, whom I've come to greatly admire. Food has been available to me every day of my life. And my all out search for an unknown God in the late 80's has guided me into a purpose-driven life led by the living God Jesus Christ.

I'm able to count some of the world's most amazing and wonderful people as my friends. Since January 2000 I've enjoyed the privilege of pastoring in this faith community known as Shiloh Church, which has consistently sought to live out the authentic message of Jesus. What more could I ask for?

Along the way I worked for 20 years at Hewlett Packard / Agilent Technologies as an electronic technician. This job was an incredible blessing in providing flexibility and finances during the 10 years I took in completing my MDiv through Western Seminary in Los Gatos, CA.

I also learned to play tennis at tournament level and am currently part of an awesome tennis team. Discovering the wonders of God's creation under water through scuba diving has been another great adventure.

My heart could best be expressed in these words, “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” (1 Cor 10:31). This is what my life is about. What floors me is that God lives to somehow share His glory with me.

I have not experienced a more visual expression of this than what is found in the movie “Return of the King” (Part 3 of JRR Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings trilogy). There is a coronation scene that symbolically and beautifully presents this mysterious dance between Divine and human hearts sharing the glory that the other deserves.

Thanks for stopping by today to read a little of my story. If we get a chance, I’d love to hear a little of your story as well…
